The award-winning Idyllwild Area Historical Society is a volunteer organization whose Mission is: “…to preserve the history of Idyllwild and neighboring communities in the San Jacinto Mountains; to maintain artifacts thereof in a manner accessible to the public; and to promote public awareness of local history for the enrichment of visitors and residents.”

October 11, 2025 – Art Alliance of Idyllwild’s Art Walk and Wine Tasting
The IAHS museum is one of many wine-tasting sites around the village.
